The Blue/Green texts are from The Father - a writer and loving husband, who tries to impart his experience and wisdom to his daughter by relating to her generation. He fails miserably.
The White texts are from The Daughter - a college freshman and lover of all things Supernatural, Hobbit, and History. By all accounts a tremendous nerd.
